Words cannot express how goddamn cool this is. Chess is a great game--the whole concept is fascinating. The board is wonderful, as it is not simple checks, but has a pattern to it. What makes this, of course, is the great lighting and the glass chess pieces. It has an incredible mood to it.
I'd say better than the other two (although those still hold their own). I hate to sound like I'm never satisfied, but there is something about this that doesn't jive quite right with me. It may be that the closer King doesn't stand out enough, I'm not sure. Still though, a very intriguing shot that's just fun to look at. The simple black & white works very well here.
I like this one best of the three. Although number 2 was good, too.
This adds more attention to the game/stalemate than just the one king, and it's not as boring as having the Kings on either side of the photo. Very nice. ^_^

As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.
